The North Olmsted Police Department, Aerozone Alliance, North Coast Drone Alliance and the Greater Cleveland Partnership invite you to join your colleagues and fellow officers for a drone demonstration and flying program on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 8:00AM – 11:00AM. Program highlights include the newest advances in drone technology, flight demonstrations, and piloting programs.

Come join NORCODA for Lakeland’s Annual GIS Day! The event is for students, staff and the community to engage with GIS professionals and to learn how GIS impacts our daily lives.
In partnership with the local FAA FSDO and Tri-C, we will be at the Tri-C Western Campus, talking with people about drone safety and registration. Tell your friends (especially those who don’t know about drones or are new to the field) to come and see us. We’ll have information on drone safety, drone registration, and the resources available from the FAA, Cuyahoga Community College, and the North Coast Drone Alliance. This event is in support of National Drone Safety Awareness Week. 10am-3pm on Wednesday, November 6th.
Our board of directors will hold a meeting on Wednesday October 24th, from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Aerozone Alliance building. Agenda and dial-in number will be distributed via email.

Come fly with us! Bring your gear and learn a few tricks from your friends at the the North Coast Drone Alliance. The weather looks great for this weekend, and the trees around Cleveland are really starting to show their fall colors. This is a great opportunity to fly in one of the few drone-approved Metroparks sites.

Join the North Coast Drone Alliance at the Ohio Aerospace Institute as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and the 30th anniversary of OAI. This all-day event is “Aerospace Perspectives: Past, Present and the Future” an explores the past, present and future of commercial and defense aviation and cyber security.

The Flight To Remember Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides The Flight To Remember Experience to hospice patients across the country. Using drone technology patients are virtually “transported” to a meaningful location that they are longing to visit. Flight To Remember works with a network of drone pilots across the US.

Group Discussion
Roundtable discussion among attendees about their experiences with drone insurance. What’s available, why you need it, how much it costs.
Both presentations are part of our ongoing public education series. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
