Discover Aviation Day is an annual event at the Lorain County Regional Airport that was created as a fun and educational family event to introduce people to the world of aviation.
Fly-in or Drive-in Fun and educational event for the entire family. A great opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day at your local airport. Pancake Breakfast hosted by EAA Chapter 1252 Classic Car Show featuring some of this region’s finest. Aviation Educational Booths.
Aircraft Displays featuring Beach City Baby Douglas C-53, 1930’s Stearman Biplane, TBM Avenger, Metro Life Flight helicopter and crew, T-6 Texan (selling rides), and the Ford Tri-Motor (selling rides).
Kid’s Activities, Food Vendors, Airplane Ride Opportunities. Free Young Eagle airplane rides for youths ages 8-17. A parent or legal guardian must be present. Admission $10 car. $5 motorcycle

NORCODA is joining forces with the AUVSI Northern Ohio Satellite and the Cleveland Quad Squad drone racing group for a common Drone Zone exhibit space and drone flight demonstration at the Cleveland Airshow.
Enjoy some fall colors and flying at Top O Ledges picnic area in Hinckley. It is one of the only drone-allowed areas in the Metroparks. Many area drone pilots will be out to share tips and tricks for capturing great fall photos and videos. Bring your own drone or just stop by and say hello. We will have equipment you can use.
Join NORCODA for Lakeland’s Annual GIS Day. The event is for students, staff and the community to engage with GIS professionals and to learn how GIS impacts our daily lives. We typically have a lot of professional drones and equipment on display, and lots of industry pros to discuss drone mapping, 3D modeling, multispectral, and remote sensing.
